The Star News: Chula Vista supports access to Friendship Park

Chula Vista City Council unanimously approved the signing of a letter by Mayor Mary Casillas Salas to the Department of Homeland Security in support of maintaining public access at International Friendship Park. Council member Jill Galvez said that like the Berlin Wall, the wall at Friendship Park is designed to sever ties between families separated by the border.
