Join us as we gather on both sides of the border again this year at Border Field State Park to celebrate Christian hope, hospitality and unity.  In the contemporary practice of the Mexican church, we celebrate hospitality with a party as there was no room in the inn for Jesus.  In the ancient practice of the Church (Works of Mercy), we specifically take time to mourn for those who have died crossing the border.  See below for more details.

This year's theme for La Posada Sin Fronteras is "Jesus, Mary and Joseph: Presente!"  We will sing, hear guest speakers and celebrate the reconciliation that God brings to the world through Christ’s birth, even in the face of false borders that separate us.

Join us from 3pm-dark at Border Field State Park on Sunday, Dec.13.

Participants should dress warmly and be aware documents may be checked on entering and exiting park. It also involves a walk of about three quarters of a mile each way to the posada site.
