| Friendship Park is an historic venue overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the U.S.-Mexico border. For generations people have gathered at the park to visit with friends and family through the border fence. In January, 2009 U.S. Customs and Border Patrol began demolishing Friendship Park and announced their intent to eliminate permanently all public access. | ||
